Project Checkmate is a collaborative research between IBM & Scripps Research Institute. In this scenario various branches of biological science unite in as a single umbrella. Researchers used STEM (Spatio Temporal Epidemiological Modular) to tackle the emerging strain of VIRUS. Super computer BLUE GENE has a key role in this project.
