Wierd Nomenclature in Virology

It is very hard to classify & nominate the viruses.There are few examples for wierd nomenclature of viruses.

The Sin Nombre Virus got its name in most controversy,as it means no name virus.Initially it was named as place of its first emergence.The place where it first emerged,was a famous tourist place.In order to protect the popularity of that tourist place,later its name changed to Sin Nombre Virus (Nameless in Spanish).

One more example is of J.C. Virus,which got its name by the patient's name in whom it was first seen;(Jones Cunningham).
